Business Data Exceptions (BDEx)

Business Data Exceptions (BDEx) was developed working with customers seeking to centrally identify and manage data issues across all of their SAP systems in high data volume, consumer facing environments. Providing a data centric view of data, and using specific data contexts to identify what data issues are causing problems in your business processes, BDEx makes it all available to the user through a single user interface.

For example, using BDEx from a customer perspective will find all data issues relating to that customer - whether they are in SAP ECC or SAP CRM, whether they are in transactions, IDocs, BDocs or even SAP Workflow messages, BDEx will find them in real time and present them to business users to proactively resolve.

BDEx also offers enhanced functionality to SAP's standard Business Process Exceptions Management (BPEM) solution enabling more efficient handling of exceptions for customers using FI-CA contract accounting - including SAP IS-Utilities, IS-Banking, IS-Telco and IS-Insurance.
