Business Data Exceptions (BDEx) provides a framework for the retrieval, analysis and reporting of issues across multiple SAP systems. At the core of BDEx is it's ability to provide a real time centralized view of of all exceptions, issues and other key transactions. This empowers business users who are dealing with customer issues and significantly increases their productivity.

Exception Actions - Exception Actions are those resolution steps that can be executed in BDEx to investigate and resolve issues and exceptions - preventing the need to transition between several transactions in order to fix a single issue.
Business Process View - the ability to link exceptions and other work types to a Business Process and then filter the view to focus on a specific process area.
