BHPBilliton is a world leader in the discovery, development, and converting of natural resources focused in the mining section and with a 150 year heritage. BHPBilliton complex SAP environment with multiple or parallel tracks to its SAP production systems.

BHPBilliton investigated the SAP change and transport market against its detailed requirements to understand what products could support its SAP Change Management needs.

Service Birmingham is a partnership between Birmingham City Council and Capita. Established in 2006 to support the council in the changing of the way it works using ICT to pave the way. Service Birmingham undertook a SAP tools selection process that included products like Basis Technologies' Transport Express. The challenge for Service Brimingham was to ensure it could support a complex multi-track SAP landscape and provide a raised level of SAP Change Mangement and governance.

Service Birmingham chose Transport Express to management their complex SAP landscape over SAP Solution Manager because of the technologies capabilities for manging SAP Transport Merging, SAP Transport synchronization and the ability to back out a failed SAP transport. These key features were easily enabled within a workflow engine designed to manage a complex SAP landscape with multi tracks to support BAU and SAP projects.

BP is one of the worlds largest leading international oil and gas companies operating in 29 countries with a very large and complex SAP environment covering multiple geographies. BP's change management process was highly manual, slow and often introduced synchronization issues within their mutli-track SAP landscape. Basis Technologies was introduced to BP through both Axon who undertook a technology selcion process and independent advisers to BP.

Basis Technologies Transport Express was selected to be installed on multiple SAP landscapes within the overall BP estate. BP continues to roll out Transport Express across its large and complex SAP estate to support its SAP Change Management Process and ensure that its SAP merge and SAP transport synchronization issues are well addressed.

British American Tobacco (BAT) is the worlds most international tobacco group with brands sold in more than 180 markets. BAT has a large global complex SAP environment with multiple or parallel tracks to its SAP production systems. BAT saw they had a significant SAP Change Management problem focused on a complex Mulit-track environment that required an SAP changement management tool.

A tool like Transport Express to support better SAP object synchonisation, SAP Merge, governance, transport traceability and an ability to backout an SAP object to prevent prolonged SAP production outages. BAT is now entering its third phase of deployment of Basis Technologies Transport Express and is achieving the beneifts of improved SAP environment change management.

Casino is one of Frances largest supermarket chains. Casino had significant problems with slow running SAP archiving.

Basis Technologies provided a solution with Mass Data Runtime (MDR). MDR enabled Casino to accelerate its slow running SAP archiving process achieving dramatic execution improvements through the deployment of the MDR parallel process framework technology that can also be used for slow running ABAP or slow SAP reports.

Centrica is a top 30 FTSE 100 company focused in the UK and USA markets. Centricas core brands are Bristish Gas, Dyno and Driect Energy. Basis Technologies has worked with Britsih Gas and Centrica for many years to address a number SAP related business challenges.

  • Centrica use Transport Express to support SAP Change management in a highly complex SAP development environment with a high volume of change managed in an Agile development environment.
  • Mass Data Runtime (MDR) is used by Centrica to accelerate SAP performance on over 400 ABAP programs dealing with extraordinarily high data volumes in a SAP Utilities solution.

Clarks began in a Somerset village in 1825 and has grown into a multi-billion pound organization delivering quality shoes to the global consumer. Clarks had a significant challenge with SAP transport synchronization between their BAU and projects environments and a need to better optimize the use of there internal support team. Transport Express was selected to address the SAP transport synchronisations and improve the SAP Change Management Process.

Clarks achieved their goals of reducing the issues around SAP transport synchronizations, lowering head count and establishing better SAP Change Management processes.
