The Royal Mail

The Royal Mail group provides postal services for the UK and is currently undergoing a vast amount of change. As part of their HR transformation programme HCL AXON made a recommendation to Royal Mail that change and release management governance would be crucial to managing a stable HR and Payroll solution for 26,000 Royal Mail employees.

Due to a multi phase deployment, parallel development paths would be required on the SAP landscape to enable the SAP Development team to build each programme wave and maintain the live production landscape (including Legal Payroll changes and support packs). Without Transport Express, Royal Mail would have introduced unnecessary business risk with potential implications on the UK Postal Service.
