Our software platforms are installed and operated by you within your discrete managed environment. The operation of our software is not reliant on any contact or communication with Basis Technologies on any daily basis.
Basis Technologies provides 24/7 support services to address any issues with our software, and these services are provided from our global technical support and consulting employees based across Europe, North America and Australia, and where necessary by remote technology access through WebEx and similar applications. In common with most technology service providers, we have implemented appropriate government directives on social distancing, and our employees are all working remotely. Such remote working practice has been a long-held operational practice within Basis Technologies and forms a core of our general business continuity plans.
We do not expect our provision of on demand support services to be affected by COVID-19, and we have received assurances from our energy utility and internet access providers that their services are robust and unlikely to be significantly impacted by the short term changes to work practices being made globally.
