Charlene is responsible for driving customer engagement, fostering collaboration, fueling renewals and expansion, championing continuous improvement, and unleashing co-marketing brilliance.
How would you describe Basis Technologies as a workplace?

How do you think the role of women in tech has changed?
“Opportunities for women have significantly increased in recent years with a growing number of women taking STEM classes to advance in the tech field. With more job opportunities, women are seeking out roles and positions that would have seemed inaccessible previously.”
Do you have any suggestions for women thinking about entering the tech sector?
“Be FEARLESS and DO IT! We have made great strides to be here today, but without fresh, new talent, we won't continue to make a place for ourselves in the industry.”
Shweta Shriyan – Senior Developer

“The overall outlook towards women in the Tech industry is evolving; organizations are gradually recognizing the fact that women can code, innovate and lead.”

“Women are multi-taskers and problem solvers by nature; this is exactly what the tech sector needs.”
Katrin El Berins – EU Marketing Manager

Katrin is responsible for the creation and implementation of the marketing plan for the DACH region, and ensuring all campaign strategies align with company goals.
How would you describe Basis Technologies as a workplace?

How do you think the role of women in tech has changed?
“As the tech industry grew, women became underrepresented – but now that’s changing. STEM programs are having a profound impact, and we’re seeing more women in leadership every day. But challenges remain: the industry must continue to work hard to overcome bias, unequal pay, and limited representation.”
Do you have any suggestions for women thinking about entering the tech sector?
“Seek out mentorship and networking opportunities, and always strive to learn more. Grab every opportunity to showcase your unique skills, speak fearlessly about your valuable ideas and express your thoughts with confidence in meetings and discussions.”
Farhana Kabir – Manager, Project & PMO

Farhana is responsible for managing projects from end-to-end, resource planning, managing risk, and continuously working on improving processes.

How do you think the role of women in tech has changed?
“Remote working has encouraged more women to pursue a career in tech as it’s giving them an opportunity to do the role at their own pace. However, we still have a long way to go.”
Do you have any suggestions for women thinking about entering the tech sector?
“Motivation needs to start from an early age, so women already in the tech sector should come forward to act as role models for the younger generations, especially for girls.”
Charlotte Fowler – People Coordinator

Charlotte is responsible for onboarding new hires, implementing workflows and processes, building out and creating People Initiatives and programs to increase workplace satisfaction and success.
How would you describe Basis Technologies as a workplace?
“Basis fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where people are willing to help out where they can and offer guidance.”
How do you think the role of women in tech has changed?
“There needs to be greater focus on how companies can first attract women to this sector, and then create supportive environments for them to thrive in the workplace. We need to break the stigma around glass ceilings!”
Do you have any suggestions for women thinking about entering the tech sector?
“Go for it! If you like to be challenged in a fast-paced environment, the tech sector is the place to be!”
