With 30 brands to manage and innovate at the speed of business, Britvic embarked on a major upgrade to re-platform its SAP systems and implement the latest version of ECC. But with manual processes and external developers impeding progress, Britvic understood it had to unstick its SAP and help its 30 brands rather than hold them back.

Rethinking core processes
Britvic employed Basis Technologies’ ActiveControl to provide business-wide automation for a more effective change control process that promoted better communication with external parties and eliminated the need for error-prone spreadsheets.
Centralizing a workspace based on a browser-based web UI made it easy for Britvic’s development team (externally sourced and distributed globally) to stay up to date while the core Britvic team owned core change management capabilities.
Minimizing human involvement across transport management, approvals and audit trails helped free teams up for more meaningful tasks. The automation tool provides total visibility of change status, reducing conflicts and making audits quicker and easier.
