Guy Berruyer joined Basis Technologies as Chair of the Board in September 2022. Guy has held several independent Chair and Non-Executive roles since retiring from Sage as group CEO in 2014. He spent a total of 17 years at Sage, joining in 1997 to run its French operation and then its Mainland Europe business. Prior to his tenure with Sage, Guy was Country Manager and then European Managing Director for US software company, Intuit. Previously he worked at the French hardware company Groupe Bull where he was a division Marketing Director and Claris as Southern European General Manager. Guy has an MBA from Harvard University and an Engineering degree from “Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne” in Switzerland.

Uwe Bohnhorst is an experienced executive with a demonstrated track record of growth in the SAP market and associated services sector. He has more than 27 years of experience in leadership positions with a global SAP system integrator and largest SAP reseller. For more than a decade, Uwe held the role of Chief Operating Officer responsible for all aspects of field operations across 28 market units in Europe, North America and APAC. Prior to that role, he also held various senior management roles at the company, including Managing Director for the Western Europe Region and Managing Director for Germany. Uwe holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Bielefeld.
