With a turnover in excess of £1billion, it is the largest water and wastewater company in England and Wales by geographic area and employs around 4,000 people.
The Challenges
Anglian Water was undergoing a major complex upgrade project from SAP R/3 to SAP ECC 6. The business had been running on the R/3 version of SAP for several years and recognized the need to maintain an infrastructure that could support both business and technological change. In order to successfully carry out the upgrade, they needed a solution that could automate their manual SAP change and release process, to reduce risk to business operations.

Project rollout timescales and the number of service desk calls that Anglian receive have both been greatly reduced. Anglian Water is now able to keep control and visibility of all business changes across its complex SAP landscape.
