The Challenges
With nearly 1,200 stores in 11 countries across Asia and Europe, the company wanted to improve the flexibility and visibility of its monthly SAP releases.
In order to manage the rapid pace of change across its SAP landscape and given its commitment to a major five year global Business Transformation, Kingfisher needed to reduce the monthly release windows to be able to meet its business requirements. In addition, Kingfisher wanted to improve its SAP development efficiency, by reducing the risk of human errors and manual tasks, and also improve the development quality.
Our Solution - ActiveControl
ActiveControl reduces the monthly SAP release windows by cutting out the manual error delays, particularly around Manuel Steps. As a result, the need for manual build list is eliminated. The tool also makes production imports significantly more streamlined reducing the issue of transport mis-sequencing.
