ActiveControl/Node-RED Walkthrough

ActiveControl’s Node-RED integration framework, introduced in version 8.40, provides a new way to create, configure and customize integrations between ActiveControl and other compatible tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps, so that connecting SAP development to wider DevOps processes and orchestrating software change across the enterprise becomes easier than ever.

Node-RED is an open-source programming tool with a simple browser-based, drag-and-drop interface that can be used to build event-driven ‘flows’. In this walkthrough we use a simple example to introduce basic concepts in the Node-RED interface and show how Node-RED can be used to create ActiveControl integrations.
