Basis Technologies International named “Cool Vendor” in the SAP Ecosystem by Leading Analyst Firm
Basis Technologies (BTI) has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the recently released Cool Vendors in the SAP Ecosystem 2012 report by Gartner Inc. Authored by Derek Prior, Thomas Otter, Joao Tapadinhas, Tim Payne, the April 6th report profiles five technology company offerings who “provide innovative solutions which address recurring challenges which are faced by the majority of SAP customers today.”

One of the report’s key findings was “Batch processing is a serious bottleneck on many SAP production systems, especially in transaction volume intensive industries.”
Z Accelerators provide a methodology, framework and software tool to dramatically speed up batch programs on an SAP system. It works by breaking single-threaded ABAP programs into smaller pieces, allowing the resulting workload to be scheduled to run in parallel across multiple SAP application servers.
