DALLAS (April 27, 2018) – Colliers International Group Inc., a leading global commercial real estate services firm, today announced Basis Technologies has relocated its North American Headquarters from Vancouver, British Columbia to Dallas, Texas. Basis signed a 4,200-square-foot lease at 16301 Quorum Drive with plans to expand in the coming years. 

Founded and based in the United Kingdom, Basis Technologies Group has spent over 20 years delivering automation technology for SAP, including the world’s first Robotic Test Automation (RTA) solution, designed to help clients align their IT strategy with the ever-increasing agile needs of their business.

“We are growing at over 40% year-over-year, and when choosing a new location, we factored in the talent we would need in the future,” said Matt Thomas, Executive Vice President for Basis Technologies. “We also considered several locations on the east and west coasts including Silicon Valley, Chicago, and Austin. Dallas has a diverse workforce, which provides us with the ability to attract high caliber talent from tech, including development, support, sales, consulting, and marketing.”

 Over the next five years, as Basis Technologies expands in Dallas, it plans to add more customer-facing roles and transfer a number of key administrative functions from the UK to the US.

This, coupled with the high talent pool and the warmest of welcomes we received from the people here, weighed heavily into our plans for expansion.” 

Basis has added 10 additional jobs in Dallas over the past quarter and is looking to hire up to 100 more in the US over the next few years as it continues to expand.
