Britvic Speeds SAP Innovation with ActiveControl

Britvic, one of the UK’s leading food and beverage manufacturers, needed to upend their manually driven SAP change control processes and move to a solution that provided automation and supported business innovation. ActiveControl from Basis Technologies was selected to leave the use of spreadsheets behind and dramatically improve SAP business efficiency.

Running robust SAP change control processes across multiple countries that relied on manual effort limited the efficiency of internal teams at Britvic. The need for visibility, faster approval rates and improved auditing capabilities drove the company to seek out an SAP automation solution that enabled more efficient, transparent SAP change processes.

With Basis Technologies’ DevOps for SAP platform, Britvic has eliminated 50% of manual effort, freeing up teams and reducing the overall cost of change.

“[With ActiveControl] basis teams don’t even need to get involved with moving transports until changes are ready to go into production. That whole effort has gone – it’s all behind the scenes. That could be 30%-50% less effort, it could be even more.”
