Honda Motor Europe implements ActiveControl to speed up SAP delivery

Basis Technologies announce the latest user of their SAP-certified tool, ActiveControl.

Honda Motor Europe Ltd. represents the European region of the Honda Motor Co., Ltd., a Japanese public multinational conglomerate corporation primarily known as a manufacturer of automobiles, aircraft, motorcycles and power equipment. Honda has been the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959.

Honda was looking for a tool that would provide a high level of technical support to their SAP team, to help improve their delivery performance. They wanted to have a central, easily auditable view of all SAP transports which would reduce risk and improve the safety of change.

With ActiveControl in place, Honda Motor Europe will reduce manual effort through automated quality checks, increase test quality and reduce production issues related to go-live delays. This will allow delivery of software releases into production environments to be accelerated and executed with much greater confidence, providing more rapid change to the business.

ActiveControl is built around core concepts of automation, safety, visibility, and audit. It puts you in complete control of your SAP change and release processes whatever your approach, from ALM through to Agile, or even DevOps. With ActiveControl, we enable you to generate more business value through faster, safer application delivery.
