Basis Technologies new Transport Expresso customer, NLMK, are a leading international steel company, they are the world’s foremost suppliers of slabs and transformer steel, from mining to the final stages of steel processing and customer delivery. Currently NLMK deliver steel products to over 70 countries worldwide.

NLMK approached Basis Technologies as they were looking for a solution that would increase the productivity within their SAP Change and Release Management process and deploy SAP changes more safely. In particular NLMK were developing a new Supply Chain Management project and were under pressure to deliver the project quickly.

After running a number of SAP Change and Release Management best practice workshops NLMK felt they had the knowledge and understanding to use Transport Expresso effectively. With their SAP Transports now automated it freed up valuable resource to focus on their project work and made a vast difference to the efficiency of their SAP system.
